On the 12th April 2018, Beth's Inspiration was invited along to the Macmillan Cove at the Royal Cornwall Hospitol in Truro. This was to show the charity around the facility and admire this superb modern new facility where all the cancer patients can go to relax in between having treatment such as radio and chemotherapy.
We were also shown the refurbished rooms on the cancer wards for the young adult and teenagers. Your kind generosity in supporting our charity has made all this possible, and more. Please take a look at some pictures of our evening right here. Finally we would like to say a massive, massive thanks to each and every one of you that has doanted to Beth's Inspiration over the last 4 years
To update you all we have just donated £10,000 to the teenage and cancer ward rooms at Treliske Hospital, for a much needed refurbishment. That was just the deposit and we are donating another £11,000 on completion. This is to make all the rooms throughout the South West the same, so wherever the patients have treatment they feel nearer to home and a sense of continuity. As it is world cancer day today we are happy to continue to do our bit and with your help this has been made possible for all of our young people in our County. Thank you as always
The Beth’s Inspiration Committee have recently held a meeting to discuss the Family Fun Day for 2018. Whilst this is a very popular and successful event we have decided for 2018 we are going to do something a bit different.
May Day Bank Holiday Sunday 2018, falls on the day that would have been Beth’s Birthday. To give our organisers, Beth’s family and close friends more time to celebrate this occasion, we have decided that we will not be going ahead with our usual May Day Event at the Britannia Inn 2018 and we are sorry for any disappointment.
